Immerse yourself in the fascination of sand play

There is shoveling and digging. Buckets are filled and molds are overturned, sand castles are built and treasures are buried. The soft grains of sand trickle through the fingers, the feet leave deep tracks in the cool or warm sand. So much joy and so many sensory perceptions.

On the huge sand playground and in the water world opposite, it doesn't take long for children to become completely absorbed in play and immerse themselves in other worlds. At the same time, they create their own world out of sand and explore with all their senses. Because as Albert Einstein said: "Play is the highest form of research.

Here is plenty of room for free play, without parental guidance. Let your little explorers immerse themselves in the fascination of sand play and enjoy the break in a shady spot - either with a view of the sand playground or Lake Neusiedl.

By the way: Bringing your own sand toys is not mandatory. The sand construction site is equipped with excavator shovels, buckets, cranes and a sand conveyor. On hot days, a sun sail offers protection from the heat.

Would you like a little slush? A bucket of water from the lake or from the interactive water world brings even more fun into play. Before moving on to the next attraction of the unique playground, the sand-parched children wash the sand traces off their bodies with an extensive bath in the shallow lake water.

The sand playground will be open again from mid-May.
