A boat trip is fun, a boat trip is beautiful. And here at Lake Neusiedl, such a boat trip is one thing above all: impressive. Who can claim to have experienced the largest steppe lake in Central Europe in all its splendor and diversity from the water?

As many as 350 different bird species have chosen the lake and its reed belt in the Neusiedler See - Seewinkel National Park as their (part-time) home. From the boat, impressive natural spectacles in the untouched habitats can be observed at close range. Nature lovers are especially recommended to take the Steppensee tour to the "Hölle" nature reserve.

Those who are less interested in the colorful plumage but are more interested in the physical well-being are best off buying a ticket for a sunset cruise including wine tasting or for the lake cruise with coffee snack and barbecue.

Lake-circling cyclists are also always well-disposed to the ferry. If you run out of steam halfway across the lake, you can take the Knoll ferry across the lake from Podersdorf to Rust.
